A win is a win is a win, but the Cowboys were certainly hoping to have more style points than they ended up with in their 20-15 victory over the New York Giants. The success within the division evened Dallas’ young season record to 2-2, which was a must given the tough opponents they faced. Next up in Week 5 is the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are (currently) 3-0. Next up are games against the Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles, with a bye week and Kirk Cousins’ Atlanta Falcons sharing each of those three crucial faceoffs.

However, after their performance in their last two losses, the Cowboys will have to endure the ups and downs. Pro Football Focus has given the starting grades for each player, and they seem to represent the unpleasant progression of the referee-influenced grind of Thursday Night Football. Here are the best and worst initial scores for the competition sorted by position. To qualify, a player had to appear in at least 15% of their unit’s respective snaps.
