How to watch Game 2 of the Wild Card Series

Good morning, baseball fans!

As I said last week, on my days off, it’s always the San Francisco Giants news that makes a splash. I fully expected them to part ways with Farhan Zaidi after last season. I even expected we would see President Buster Posey at some point. However, I didn’t expect that we would see him lead the entire team before he was even eligible for Hall of Fame voting.

Wild times. Anyway, I just wanted to do my part, but that’s not what we’re here for.

No, today we are here to take a look at what the ongoing Wild Card series has to offer.

First up, the Detroit Tigers will look to eliminate the Houston Astros after taking a 1-0 series lead with a 3-1 win yesterday. Her series continues at 11:32 a.m. PT on ABC from Houston. Tyler Holton will start for the Tigers and face Hunter Brown for the Astros.

After that, the visiting Kansas City Royals will look to do the same against the Baltimore Orioles after defeating them with a narrow 1-0 victory yesterday. Their series continues at 1:38 p.m. PT on ESPN. Seth Lugo will take the mound for the Royals against Zach Eflin for the Orioles.

After that, the National League gets back to work, with the New York Mets looking to keep the momentum going after their 8-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers yesterday. Their game begins at 4:38 p.m. PT, also on ESPN. Old friend Sean Manaea will start for the Mets against Frankie Montas for the Brewers.

Finally, the San Diego Padres, the only home team in the series so far with a lead, will try to claim victory against the Atlanta Braves, whom they defeated yesterday in a 4-0 shutout. Their series continues at 5:38 p.m. PT on ESPN2. Max Fried will take the mound for the Braves and face Joe Musgrove for the Padres.

(Starting pitchers subject to change.)

Have fun watching and let us know who you think will like it in the comments! Personally, I’ll stay on the Mets train until it inevitably derails.
